The SM series 4\u2019\u2019 submersible motors are rewindable, like their predecessors, and can operate in wells with water temperatures not exceeding 35\u00b0 C and a pH between 6.5 and 8.0. The filling liquid is a dielectric fluid known as white oil, approved by the American FDA and other pharmacological institutes worldwide. Coupling dimensions and the flange comply with NEMA standards, as these submersible motors are specifically designed to operate in conjunction with submersible pumps (in deep wells) with the same coupling dimensions.<\/div>\n
The power supply can be single-phase or three-phase. The single-phase line ranges from 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) up to 4.0 kW (5.5 HP), while the three-phase line ranges from 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) up to 7.5 kW (10 HP). Submersible motors are typically used in vertical installations. However, the motors can be installed horizontally, subject to prior confirmation from our technical department and a global evaluation of the required application. The motors can be installed in 4\u2019\u2019 wells with a maximum depth of 250 meters.<\/div>\n
